Citron DS3 R3
In addition to Citron Racing's official participation in WRC, where it has won five FIA World Championship Constructors' titles, Citron Racing has always offered products designed for customers. The champion team has now furthered this rich tradition with Citron DS3 R3, a model set to make its rallying debut at the end of 2010. Versatile, high performance and yet affordably-priced, Citron DS3 R3 is set to become the new leader in its category.
Based on the FIA's new Group R3T regulations, Citron DS3 R3 features the same structural design and appearance as the production model, with the production steel body shell reinforced by a welded, multi-point roll cage, improving the resilience of the chassis and safety for the driver pairing.
Under the bonnet lies a four-cylinder 1.6-litre THP (high pressure turbo) engine, which has been developed using the PSA production engine. Specific racing parts (air box, camshaft, pistons, connecting rods, exhaust and turbo systems, electronic unit, etc.) have been deployed to boost the car's power to 210bhp. In addition to its overall power, special attention has been given to increasing the engine's torque to improve traction, one of the key factors in delivering efficient driving performance. With 350Nm, the Citron DS3 R3 engine offers unrivalled flexibility on the road.
Citron DS3 R3 has benefitted from the extensive expertise acquired by Citron Racing through its involvement in the World Rally Championship. As with the C4 WRC, the six-speed gearbox features semi-automatic sequential control, enabling gear changes to be made twice as quickly as with a manual gearbox, whilst also improving the reliability of the car's powertrain.

Land Rover Range Rover Black
"The Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography Black represents the very best Range Rover has to offer and is a fitting tribute to a vehicle which has consistently set the highest standards for all-terrain performance, luxury and design for the last 40 years." Phil Popham, Land Rover Managing Director
The ultimate incarnation of the Range Rover, the Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography Black 40th Anniversary Limited Edition, is quite simply the last word in bespoke vehicles.
With a unique finish in Barolo Black, the exterior also features 20-inch alloy wheels, Diamond Turned, a unique front grille with Titan grille mesh, a bright chrome grille 'U' edge and black grille surround. Side vents have a new mesh set off by bright chrome bars and a black vent surround. There are body coloured door handles and of course, the tailgate badge, 'Autobiography Black'.
Inside, there's a choice of the standard colourway in Jet, or two colourways unique to the Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography Black - Jet and Ivory, or Jet and Pimento. The Autobiography Black logo is discretely repeated throughout the interior where it is embossed on the rear seat armrest and appears on the four unique, Grand Black door veneers. Front door sill tread plates are illuminated with the words 'Range Rover' and there's a half wood Grand Black steering wheel. Petrol models also offer gearknob veneers.
"At the top of the Range, the new Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography Black 40th Anniversary Limited Edition offers customers the option of complete exclusivity with unique colourway combinations as well as striking interior and exterior design features. Around 700 will be made, emphasising the exclusivity of this limited edition." Design Director, Gerry McGovern
No detail has been overlooked in ensuring this is the most special Range Rover in the marque's 40 year history. Even the key fob and driver's handbook carry the Autobiography Black logo.

Land Rover Freelander 2
The 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 model range, on sale in the UK from the end of September 2010, benefits from a new 2.2-litre diesel engine available with either 150PS or 190PS outputs, a new look exterior plus interior alterations including new instrument dials and a new Premium Pack option.
Land Rover's new turbo diesel engine is available in the 4WD TD4 150PS model featuring a manual transmission and intelligent Stop/Start technology as standard (an automatic gearbox without Stop/Start is available as a cost option), or the new SD4 model delivering 190PS (available in automatic transmission only).
This new engine is quieter, more efficient and both derivatives have 20Nm more torque than the outgoing engine. This means the 2011 Freelander 2 offers improved engine response and more mid-range strength for towing. CO2 emissions have been significantly reduced to 165g/km and 185g/km respectively with corresponding fuel economy benefits.
However, despite reductions in consumption and emissions, there has been no compromise in performance. The flagship 190PS Land Rover Freelander SD4 accelerates from rest to 60mph in 8.7 seconds with an increased top speed of 118mph. The Land Rover Freelander 150PS TD4 manual and automatic versions match the performance of their predecessors.
As well as being upgraded from EU4 to EU5, both versions have a new variable geometry turbocharger and have been extensively re-calibrated to deliver new levels of power, meet emissions regulations and reduce CO2 emissions. They are fitted with a catalysed diesel particulate filter as standard and are now compatible with 10 per cent biodiesel rather than 5 per cent.
As an addition to the Land Rover Freelander 2 range, Land Rover will also offer customers a 2WD derivative, available in the UK from January 2011. This will be called the Land Rover Freelander 2 eD4 and it will be the most efficient Land Rover ever produced, with fuel consumption of 47.2mpg combined, and CO2 emissions of just 158g/km.
"The new Land Rover Freelander 2 eD4 moves Land Rover into the hugely popular and fiercely contested two wheel-drive SUV market," said Land Rover managing director Phil Popham. "The European market for two-wheel drive SUVs represents 23 percent of the segment and we intend to compete strongly here.
"A 2WD option is just one way in which we are developing our vehicles' efficiency whilst adding to the Land Rover range and expanding our appeal to a broader group of customers. We will continue to make the 'world's finest all-terrain vehicles' for those customers who require 4WD but will also now offer an alternative."
This groundbreaking Land Rover Freelander 2 eD4 is powered by the new 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine, delivering 150PS. It is only available with a six-speed manual transmission featuring Stop/Start technology as standard.
The exterior of the latest Land Rover Freelander 2 gets a new look for 2011. Marked out by a new front bumper assembly incorporating new front fog lap bezels, a new front grille finish, improved headlights and tail lamps, new full width tailgate appliqu and new 18- or 19-inch alloy wheel styles. There are three new colour schemes for 2011 Kosrae Green, Baltic Blue and Fuji White.
Inside the cabin, Land Rover's design team have revised the instrument dials, and there are four new seat styles with the option of a Premium Pack that includes Windsor Leather upholstery, an 8/6 way electric seat, plus premium carpet mats and covered centre stowage.

2012 Lexus LFA Nurburgring Luxury Concept Sport Cars
Forget every notion you ever had about Lexus and the 2012 Lexus LFA is the result, a street-able race car with seatbelt airbags rather than a roll cage and a 552-hp V10 wailing to 9000 rpm. The relentless pursuit of perfection has given way to the relentless pursuit of speed and the price is up by a factor of three. Lexus will build 500 LFA sports cars at the rate of 20 per month, available to vetted drivers.
While many cars offer carbon fiber interior trim or add-on spoilers, the LFA's chassis and body are made of the stuff, like a racecar, and unfinished inside the hood and trunk to show it off. The expensive material allows for precise lines and edges, providing low drag (Cd 0.31) and highspeed stability in the same package. Weight is centered and low as possible, including the fuel tank, battery and windshield washer tank.
2012 Lexus LFA Nurburgring a compact 4.8-liter V10 engine in front, developed in conjunction with Yamaha and full of titanium and magnesium bits, is cast in the same foundry used by Toyota's Formula One team. An automated sequential six-speed gearbox in the back helps perfect weight distribution. Weight control, power and gear changes in a fraction of a second propel it the 2012 Lexus LFA from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.7 seconds and to a top speed of 202 mph. Racing-grade components don't stop in the engine bay, with aluminum suspension bits, hollow antiroll bars, carbon ceramic brake rotors, forged aluminum BBS wheels, fat Bridgestones, and an active rear wing. Even the flat-bottom steering wheel uses carbon fiber to aid weight and balance.
The 2011 Lexus LFA cabin offers reasonable room and there's a smidgeon of luggage space. An LCD dash conveys engine and car data, offers various configurations and changes color as you pass redline to encourage an upshift (which it does automatically 200 rpm later). Pedals are floorhinged aluminum; reverse is a button on the dash. It's not about Lexus silent luxury here, but there is a touch-controller much like that in the RX crossover.
2011 Lexus LFA will be built to order, with thousands of permutations among paint, leather, brake caliper and wheel colors; navigation, Mark Levinson sound system and Enform/Safety Connect telematics are by choice. If that isn't enough, Lexus announced a Nurburgring package. The LFA was developed there. Each of the 50 cars with the Nurburgring package will have an additional 10 horsepower, a faster-shifting gearbox, a firmer suspension, exclusive black mesh wheels fitted with stickier tires, a larger front spoiler and a fixed rear wing. Changes like this typically equate to lower lap times, not straight-line speed.
The Nurburgring LFA will come in just four colors, including $20,000 matte black that looks as dull as a stealth fighter, with carbon fiber console and door panels. It adds special privileges such as lodging, driving instruction, and an annual pass at the Nurburgring itself. Finally, it comes with a jacket to ensure you aren't mistaken for Ferrari tifosi since the Ferrari 599 is the LFA's logical competitor.

2011 Lexus LS 460 Powerfull Engine
The 2011 Lexus LS 460 AWD and long-wheelbase 2011 Lexus LS 460 L AWD introduce several of the most advanced design, safely and comfort features available. Most luxury vehicles possess a defining attribute performance perhaps, possibly styling or maybe comfort. In a Lexus you find them all, and each one is an achievement. The visionary design and technology that launched the first Lexus involved 1,400 engineers, 2,300 technicians, 200 new patents and 2 billion dollars in R&D. It's an acclaimed legacy of invention and investment that distinguishes each and every Lexus.
The 2011 Lexus LS 460 easily satisfies these requirements, especially in the quality of the ownership experience it offers. But when stacked up next to European luxury cars, it still comes up a little sedate. Like many of its competitors, the V8-powered 2011 Lexus LS 460 is offered in standard- or long-wheelbase versions, as well as rear- or all-wheel drive. The LS also offers an impressive selection of options that rival prestigious executive limousines. Features like a backseat that reclines up to 45 degrees, a footrest akin to a private jet's, a refrigerator and a DVD entertainment system will please even the most demanding passengers.
The 2011 Lexus LS 460 comes standard with 18-inch wheels, power-folding and heated exterior mirrors, foglamps, adaptive and automatic xenon headlamps, automatic wipers, a sunroof, cruise control, keyless ignition/entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt-and-telescoping multifunction steering wheel, a 16-way power driver seat and 12-way power passenger seat (includes lumbar adjustments, multilevel heating and memory functions), leather upholstery, wood trim, auto-dimming mirrors, a rearview camera, Safety Connect emergency telematics, Bluetooth phone and streaming audio connectivity and a 10-speaker stereo with a six-CD changer, satellite radio and an iPod interface. Opting for AWD brings with it a heated steering wheel. The 2011 LS 460 L adds headlamp washers, automatic high beams, a power trunk lid, power door closers, front and rear parking sensors, rear seat vanity mirrors, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats as standard equipment.
A tiny sliver of steel has been scooped from the head of every bolt on every 2011 Lexus LS 460 to reduce overall weight by nine kilograms. It's just one of many meticulous details that contribute to acceleration, performance and reduced fuel consumption. At Lexus, the little things aren't treated lightly.
Lexus computer simulations and crash tests incorporate both current and anticipated standards for North America, Japan and Europe. As a result, Lexus boasts one of the strictest test criteria standards in the industry Global Outstanding Assessment (GOA). The trademark luminous finish of a 2011 Lexus LS 460 is the result of a painstaking painting process. As many as 42 separate and carefully executed steps are taken to achieve the perfect faderesistant lustre. At Lexus, skin deep just isn't good enough.

2011 LEXUS RX 450h 5-Door SUV
The 2011 LEXUS RX 450h engine is powerful, 3.5-liter 24- valve V6 DOHC, with sequentialshift automatic transmission and VVT front electric drive motors. The Atkinson cycle gasoline engine on the 2011 LEXUS RX 450h works differently from conventional engines by converting more of the energy generated during combustion into mechanical energy. Combined with a powerful electric motor, the result is impressive: fewer emissions, greater fuel efficiency (city mpg of 32 and highway mpg of 28), and virtually instantaneous torque. But when the ECO mode automatically optimizes multiple systems to consume less energy, it regulates the throttle response for more even acceleration.
By harnessing the power of the vehicles momentum and coasting, the Lexus Hybrid Drive system is able to
direct energy back into the battery, eliminating the need to plug it in. The feature I enjoyed the most was
the AI Shift Control, an intelligent shifting system that can estimate whether you are traveling uphill or
downhill, automatically selecting the appropriate gear ratio for optimal engine response. There is also a manual shift capability that allows you to upshift or downshift on the fly, providing greater responsiveness and maneuverability coming out of the corners.
Although I live in Dallas, the city is not densely populated in the southern part of the county. There are numerous dirt and paved roads that are narrow and crowded with trees and brush along the sides. The RXs LED headlamps offered more than just a distinctive appearance. Whiter and brighter than conventional headlamps, they illuminate a larger area ahead, providing greater visibility. To help illuminate even more of
the road ahead in a curve, the adaptive front lighting system features a right headlamp that can rotate up to
10 degrees into a right turn, and a left headlamp that can rotate up to 15 degrees in a left turn.
Numerous frightened rabbits, and even one startled coyote, were spared a single trip to the Hereafter because
I saw them in time to stop or slow and veer away. I would be remiss if I didnt tell about the exquisite interior with genuine wood trim. Ten-way adjustable power front seats with internal heating and ventilation controls are standard, made for driver and companion comforts. There is a power tilt and telescopic steering column, while power one-touch windows and door locks with anti-lock-features are just touch-inches away. The central display is purposely located as close to eye level as possible to help keep your focus on the road
ahead. For even greater visibility, a heads-up display can project simple navigation directions and audio system information on the windshield in front of you.
Technology abounds in the 2011 Lexus RX 450h. The Lexus nine-speaker premium audio system, automatic sound levelizer, and in-dash single feed six-dish CD auto-changer can keep you heart singing and your toes tapping. In-glass antenna with FM diversity system, Bluetooth Technology, and XM Satellite Radio (free for 90 days) are examples of technology quality.
The 2011 Lexus RX 450h is equipped with a classleading 10-airbags system. Included are side curtain airbags; knee, side, and dual-stage front airbags for the driver and front passenger; and side airbags for the rear outboard passengers. In addition, a pre-collision system can detect imminent frontal collision. And while retracting the seatbelts, brake assist is automatically prepared to provide increased braking pressure the moment you forcibly step on the brake pedal. Wrap all this around a pillar-reinforced design and you cant
help but feel safer.
The 2011 Lexus RX 450h has a feel of comfort with the overwhelming swagger of luxury. It sits tall and speaks with the voices of speed and dependability. Driving home from a formal event, you cannot get over your feeling of pride when the valet attendant brought your 2011 Lexus RX 450h around and opened the door for you, and you saw the look of awe and admiration on the other attendees faces as they waited for their vehicles. That moment will play in your mind over and over for some time.

downhill, automatically selecting the appropriate gear ratio for optimal engine response.

2011 Lexus LF-Gh Luxury Dynamic Concept
The 2011 Lexus LF-Gh hybrid concept will make its global debut at the 2011 New York International Auto Show. The concept, which sets out to redefine the premium grand touring sedan, will be featured on at the Lexus stand until May 1. For this concept, Lexus designers studied characteristics that are often considered contradictory and difficult to execute together, said Mark Templin, group vice president and general manager, Lexus Division.
The captivating design of the 2011 Lexus LF-Gh concept examines the possibility of balancing what are normally opposing qualities, such as style and functionality. Working with a clean sheet of paper, Lexus Design Division designers aimed to perfectly blend style, performance, efficiency, and environmental compatibility in a premium, grand touring sedan whilst trying to leverage advanced, new technologies. The team explored how a future grand touring sedan would look standing still and on the road, and what design approaches might work to convey an extraordinary combination of attributes. They came up with a design that unites hard and soft; and energetic and soothing elements.
With the 2011 Lexus LF-Gh, Lexus takes the idea of the grand touring sedan one step further. The 2011 Lexus LF-Gh was designed to be high-performance concept capable of providing a moving driving experience, and comfortably transporting multiple occupants at higher speeds on long-distance drives. It combines a strong sense of presence and emotional appeal with functional attributes, supplying enhanced creature comforts plus the practical ability to transport personal supplies and luggage necessary for extended travel. Even whilst maintaining serene passenger comfort, it is a car designed to inspire and captivate the driver as time behind the wheel accumulates.
The bold, wide stance is consistent with the goal of inspiring dynamic excellence on the road. Fundamentally, these are the proportions of an agile, responsive sedan built on an advanced rear-wheel-drive platform. The distinctive long greenhouse design does not compromise the potential for functional passenger benefits, such as generous interior room for all four passengers, ample cargo area, and excellent forward visibility.
LED lighting hints at the range and scope of new materials, electronics and dynamic systems that endow this concept vehicle with state-of-the-art performance, driving control, and safety features. Overall, the Lexus LF-Gh concepts styling embodies the definition of what an authentic grand touring sedan from Lexus could be.
This newest Lexus concept brings together unique, dynamic proportions that lend to its advanced and aggressive stance. The 2011 LF-Gh is based on an architecture that enables a spirited, energetic and elegant car with an uncommonly assertive presence. Viewed from the front, design elements contributing to the assertive effect include a boldly designed spindle-shaped grille that expresses the resolute face of Lexus, contributes to radiator and brake duct function, and is an essential element in achieving excellent aerodynamic performance. Every line in the LF-Gh combines form and function. As an example, air flows in through front inlets adjacent to the unique vertical LED fog lamps, and exits through similar slim rear outlets that follow the curve of the tail lamps from the rear quarter panel. The concept also explores the minimisation of traditional features such as side mirrors and door handles to enhance the sleekness and improve aerodynamics.
The spindle grille, a powerful design element that contributes to the commanding presence of the LF-Gh, also plays a role in airflow control and enhancing stability. Its a key feature that integrates distinctive style with engineering functionality without sacrifice in either discipline, and will be inherited by future Lexus models.
An athletic and strong stance is achieved through the contrast of the tapered torso and long cabin, with width-enhancing front and rear wheel arches. The form of the lower body begins from the short front overhang, and is cross cut in the middle of the rocker panel leaving the rear overhang looking light and agile.
Dynamic front fenders work to create a sense of movement, pushing down towards the ground to convey a low, crouching centre of gravity. The raised bonnet implies ready and powerful performance potential. The rear deck has a robust, raised centre deck lid that lets the air smoothly glide backward to flow gracefully into the rear bumpers. Deeply sculptured dynamic twin spokes stemming from the centre of the 20-inch wheels enhance an instinctive sense of driving appeal.
Lexus designers took advantage of increased width that provides an expansive canvas for distinct, wrap-around LED tail lamps. The use of distinctive tail lamps and intricately designed reflectors behind all-red lenses contribute to a strong visual presence. Judicious use of slim chrome trim elements in the bumper exhaust and integrated diffuser adds a subtle premium touch. Unique LED headlamps and independent L-shaped LED daytime running lights assure that the Lexus face will be like no other car on the road.
Behind dark tinted glass, hints of an all-new, future Lexus interior can be perceived. The cabin of the Lexus LF-Gh is the product of a meticulous re-examination of every detail, with the aim of making an interior that is driver-oriented. The drivers zone includes an instrument panel with excellent visibility and a console with intuitive operability. An all-new analogue clock with a three-dimensional face, a more contemporary and exclusive timepiece that is more suitable to a premium luxury brand, is a focal point of the interior and represents a shift in Lexus design philosophy. Use of genuine, high-quality materials and rich, finely honed details help create a driver and passenger space consistent with the idea of a fully-fledged grand touring sedan. It is an It is an interior designed to respond to the needs of customers who know true quality, and are particular about detail.
Blue LED Lexus Hybrid Drive badges located in the front grille and on the rear trunk lid signal an intention to provide equal measures of fuel efficiency and performance on demand. The rear valance blends sculpted exhaust tips for a very clean, finished look, minimising the presence of the exhaust system to suggest that the flow of exhaust gas will be substantially reduced. Taken as a whole, the treatment emphasises that this hybrid concept is designed to comply with the exceptionally low emissions requirements of the future.
The 2011 Lexus LF-Gh design supports engineering that changes current notions of power, efficiency, safety, and environmental consideration in a premium luxury car. Although only a concept, we hope the LF-Gh will resonate with our customers worldwide, and communicate our intention to once again advance ideas about the face of Lexus luxury in the years to come, said Templin.

2011 Lexus CT 200h Best Concept Design and Peformance
2011 Lexus CT 200h Review, Prices and Pictures
Lexus calls the 2011 Lexus CT 200h the worlds first luxury hybrid sportback. In terms of size, the 2011 Lexus CT200h and Toyota Matrix are practically identical. This new Lexus is the entry-level model of Toyotas luxury division. Lexus identifies the Audi A3, BMW 128, Mercedes-Benz B200 and Volvo C30 as the CT 200hs main competition.
As a Lexus, the 2011 CT 200h is entitled to a wide range of luxury features, including automatic climate control, smart key access, cruise control, HomeLink universal transceiver, NuLuxe seating surfaces, tilt-and-telescoping steering column, power adjusted and heated front seats, premium audio system, etc.
Evidently, a hybrid vehicle is synonymous of eco-consciousness. In this respect, 30% of the CT 200hs interior is composed of recyclable materials. The Japanese automaker demonstrated environmental concern in several areas. One is the audio systems speaker diaphragms, made with a bamboo charcoal resin. A first for Lexus, they are constructed using a complex composition of bamboo charcoal, bamboo fibre and resin moulded by injection to a thickness of only 0.008-0.010 in. They are 10% to 15% lighter than conventional diaphragms yet are 20% stiffer and with a 10% greater sonic speed.
The synthetic leather used for the base model is another example. Developed as an ecological substitute for leather, NuLuxe is a new seating material with a different feel. It is ecological in that it uses no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Half the weight of genuine leather, it helps reduce total vehicle weight. It also reduces CO2 emissions by 65%, compared to traditional synthetic leather production methods, and with no metallic residue, since pattern processing is made by ink jet.
Needless to say, as a Lexus the CT 200h is entitled to a full array of safety equipment: antilock brakes, stability control, active front head restraints, brake assist, eight airbags (including driver and front occupant knee bags), and Smart Stop technology that automatically reduces engine power, to help stop the vehicle,
if ever the accelerator and brake pedals are hit simultaneously.
To power the front wheels of the Lexus CT 200h, the engineers called on an improved version of the Prius drivetrain, composed of a 1.8-litre Atkinson cycle four-cylinder gas engine, two motor-generators and a continuously variable electronic transmission. That puts 134 horsepower at the drivers disposal, along with a choice of four operating modes. In certain conditions, in EV (electric) mode, the vehicle can cover up to 1.6 km at speeds less than 40 km/h on the electric motor alone.
In Normal mode, everything functions in a conventional manner, with an electric power of 500 volts. Eco mode regulates air conditioning and throttle response to maximize fuel efficiency. Sport mode, a first for Lexus hybrids, modifies the electrically assisted steering system and throttle settings, increases the electric motors battery power to 650 volts, and makes the stability and traction control systems less intrusive for a livelier driving experience. Lexus rates fuel consumption at 4.5 L/100 km in the city, and 4.8 L/100 km on the highway.
For a sporty drive and a smooth ride worthy of the name, the engineers designed the CT 200h with a low centre of gravity, a rigid structure and an independent suspension tuned to a blend of suppleness and firmness. They also added a front and rear lateral performance damping system to enhance both comfort and steering
precision. A first in the compact luxury segment and a first for a Lexus vehicle, the system absorbs and minimizes undesirable body vibrations.
During the course of a few hundred kilometres on the roads of Alberta, we found the Lexus CT 200h to be fun to drive, notably thanks to its suspension comfort and sporty road holding sufficiently sporty for some drivers to fantasize about a more powerful engine to make the most of the vehicles capabilities. With its modest dimensions, the CT 200h cabin is more suited to average sized, rather than tall, individuals. Lexus hopes to sell 1,200 CT 200hs this year. The 2011 Lexus CT 200h base model is priced at $32,900. Three option packages are offered: Touring ($1,950), Premium ($4,950) and Technology ($8,400).
