It represents a bold vision of the luxury, compact city car of tomorrow.

The hybrid powertrain features a small-capacity conventional combustion engine combined with an electric motor and a battery re-charging function.

"REVOLTe reflects the changing role of small cars with style and elegance becoming as important as economy and practicality."

Making its world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, the Lexus LF-Ch full hybrid concept is Lexus�s first approach to the competitive European premium compact segment.

The exterior design is characterized by "powerful surfacing and hand-sculpted details" inspired by the brand's L-finesse design philosophy

Blacked-out B-pillars and concealed rear door handles create the look of a pillarless coup�.

The interior features and asymmetric dashboard and Remote Touch controls.

The Lexus LF-Ch Concept reflects the growing demand for cars that are smaller and more fuel and CO2 efficient. "By next year the compact segment is expected to claim the largest share of the European premium car market."

Thanks to a wide track, long wheelbase and low centre of gravity, the LF-Ch�s full hybrid powertrain is engineered to deliver all the performance customers expect from a premium compact hatchback, while at the same time returning low fuel consumption, CO2 and NOx emissions.

With the benefit of the full hybrid technology of Lexus Hybrid drive, the car can be driven in a fully electric EV mode, a power option that is not available to drivers of mild hybrids. This allows for urban driving with minimal noise and zero emissions.

TOYOTA with 10 more hybrids till 2010


Toyota said on Detroit Show, it will launch 10 hybrids till 2010.
They want to sell 1 million hybrids till 2010, so they will bring
this cars. No word what cars, only that the new Prius and the
Lexus HS are one of those.

HONDA ON SAVING TRIP


Honda is going on with the saving plan, after cancelling NSX,
the same came to the next S2000, the V8 engine and the
rear-whell drive Acura.
They will focus on smaller and cars that sell, along with the
Hybrids.
