Seabreacher

No your eyes arent fooling you, the Seabreacher is a submersible watercraft inspired by dolphins. The vehicle is designed and manufactured by Innespace Productions and comes in a few different models as well as customized builds. Just like a dolphin, the Seabreacher can jump dive and roll through the water at speeds of up to 40mph or 20mph underwater. The driver and a passenger are kept dry inside a sealed cockpit, but are free to look around through the glass top. The boat took
over 10 years to develop and is now easy enough to drive and maintain for the average person. The design retails for around 48,000 USD and comes with a number of options such as additional view ports and custom upholstery.

Hydration Protection Snowsports Wear

via Yanko Design by Radhika Seth on 7/21/09

One of the biggest bnummers of any sport is the fear of injury from falls and winter sports are no different. Here is a jacket that proposes to act as a protective gear against those accidental slips on the ice, which can be really painful. The design includes an impact chamber filled with water and air that acts as a cushioning. On impact, the air is pushed up the back channel and into the dissipation chamber situated around the jackets neck, inflating it. Wear it and show off your stunts, without fear!

Since the neck area gets inflated, it offers a certain degree of whiplash protection and support. Its a good idea to fill in drinkable water into the chamber; coz once youre knocked down you may want to replenish yourself with some.

Water droplet resort creates H2O out of thin air

Water droplet resort creates H2O out of thin air

This is one watery resort. Besides its water droplet shape, itextracts water from the airusing solar power, and a large part of it is built underwater, functioning as a huge aquarium. In addition to its luxury hotel rooms, the plan is to build restaurants, convention space, gyms, conference rooms and spas on its upper floors.

We think Spanish architect Orlando De Urrutia is onto something here. People love to be near water when they're on vacation, so this might be the ideal recreation destination. Wouldn't be bad to work there, either could this be a suitable design for a future DVICE headquarters?

Hara Design Institute + Atelier Omoya: Water Logo

viaDesignboom - Weblogon 5/14/09

material:monert

this is a sign made of water. fibers given a special coating at the nano level completely
repel the drops of water, much like a lotus leaf. when the droplets of water exceed a
certain size, they roll away down the sloping surface under the influence of gravity.
the water drops well up to form letters on top of the sloped fabric, a new drop of water
grows up to take the place of each drop that rolls away, so the water logo is constantly renewed.
the water drops form tails as they roll away. these tails is a result of friction between
the water and the fabric.
