This Is How the CIA Kills Terrorists Using Predators

via Gizmodo by Jesus Diaz

This redhead is an angel. An angel of death, working for the CIA. And in this chilling video you will see how she flies a Predator, and delivers its lethal payload along with another agent in the next computer rig.

Both are "pilot" and "sensor" in the same mission. What you see in the video is a simulation, but that's how it works: Two agents in Langley, Virginia, on a basement, pulling levers and clicking buttons on a multi-display rig connected in real time with Predators flying anywhere around the world.

30,000-Pound Massive Ordnance Penetrator

viaGizmodoby Jesus Diaz on 6/10/09

Smile, you GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator you! Or like I like to call you: Mr. Holmes, the 30,000-pound (13.6 metric tons) precision-guided bunker buster. That's 25,000 pounds heavier than the largest bunker-buster available.

The US Air Force said yesterday that they are going to buy an arsenal of these bombs, which will be incorporated into the B-2A bomber fleet. Manufactured by Boeing, they are designed to destroyanybunker buried under ground, so you know these are designed for the Kim Jong-Ils, Bin Ladens, and Ahmadinejads of this world. If you fall into any of these three categories, mark your calendars now: The Holmes will reach operational status in June 2012.

The GPS-guided GBU-57A/B has a 2.7 metric ton high explosive warhead, and can penetrate 200 feet (60 meters) of 5,000 psi reinforced concrete, 26 feet (8 meters) of 10,000 psis reinforced concrete, or 130 feet (40 meters) of moderately hard rock.

TAC-15 Tactical Crossbow Makes Me Wish for a Zombie Outbreak

viaGizmodoby Sean Fallon on 4/27/09

Hunting will get a lot more interesting next month when PSE releases their TAC-15 crossbow. It mounts directly on a AR-15 rifle, allowing you to swap between both weapons with minimal tinkering.

Why would you need a crossbow when you are already holding an AR-15? I cannot envision a scenario where it makes senseunless you are invited to some island beyond the bounds of law where men are hunted for sport. You don't want to make it too easy, so you hunt with the crossbow. Then again, we are talking about the most dangerous game of all here, so you have the high-powered rifle as a backup. Speaking of backups, you might want to add theG.R.A.D. .22-cal knife gunto your double-kill arsenal just in case. Hit the following link to see a video of the TAC-15 in action. Greatest Living Samurai Reduced To Slicing Vegetables, BBs in Slow-Mo

via Gizmodo by Sean Fallon on 4/17/09

The noble Samurai has found his role in Japanese society reduced over the decades from a fearsome fighting warrior to a skilled cutter of vegetables and BBs that's paraded on TV shows for our amusement.

Granted, this video illustrates Samurai Isao Machii's impressive skill and hand-eye coordination, but until he can slice actual flying bullets instead of BBs, he will be nearly useless in battle (although he is still great for ratings).
